I adjusted the the valve lash yesterday and noticed that one of the rocker cover bolts has sheered off at the head. Someone has drilled the center of the bolt and stuck something in it which has also snapped. So now I have an unknown metal object stuck inside a bolt which is stuck in the head Cheers, Jimmy. |

Yep, I reckon you're on the money there Rockhopper. Whatever it is that's stuck inside the bolt is as hard as a diamond in an ice storm. I've decided to leave it to a bloke who specialises with this sort of stuff (Capital Thread Repair). He's coming early next week to sort it all out. |
