Guys, I need to take out my hand brake lever from my wt sierra, have undone the 4 bolts that holds it down, but need to remove the cable from it as well.

is there any way to remove it without having to lose the current adjustment? I assume its a matter of undoing the adjusting nut to get the cable off, or does the pin knock out? couldn't find anything about it in the manual.
