I'm tossing up the idea of sticking a 1lt transfer in until I can afford to lay down the money for a rebuilt transfer with 6.5's. Are any mods required to fit a 1lt transfer to a 1.3 WT? If so what? Or is it worth saving my penny's and investing in 6.5's? Also, for comparative purposes, what reduction does the 1lt case have when compared to the the 1.3? Cheers, Jimmy. Edit: Running 30x9.5 rubber but plan on going to 31x10.5. |

1.0 is heaps better than a 1.3 if youtr running bigger rubber..>31".. you will need to change the flanges, and the handbrake MAY be an issue as the 1.0 and NT 1.3 are off the xfer not the rear wheels.. also off memory one of the mounting arms is slightly different.. there should be a write up around, Im pretty sure B4T wrote it up not so long ago.. might want to put what size rubber your running in the OT.. helps to determine whats better suited Diff gears would be another option, but are somewhat harder and pricier than the xfer swap.. |

i have had both, 1L are only for cruzing around town, 6.5's are if you want to slow down on rocks. no mod's to fit a 1L case aslong as it has the switch light. If i was doing a build like your's then i would go 6.5s.... |
