I have a 85 drover tin top ute. Is that same as NT? ie difs springs transfer
IF so are wt springs same as nt ones?
Did a search for a post that listed the differences between nt and wt but too many results. May be a sticky is in order??
thanks

The Drover is just a badge engineered 1.3 Sierra. The only differences are the headlights and grille and the badges/decals, all other parts are standard Sierra SJ413 (aka 1.3lt Sierra, aka SJ50 NT)

That clears that up. nice one 303 zuke
Now I just have to get my head around NT WT compatibility and have some fun. Got a spare WT swb siting here for parts.
Thanks again

Drovers use a different universal joint than that of a sierra.
Sierra uni Joint is a TOYO part # RUJ 1795
Drover Uni Joint is a TOYO part # 902018
They are different.

lol hope so, I bought sierra unis, they are sort of ok to use in an emergency, but they have an inner circlip, and the drovers have an outer circlip. Took me ages and ages to find the right ones.

How was that Jack Bryan?
NT jackshaft..... External clips..
WT front shaft.... External clips..
Drover rear shaft.... External clips..
I don't know what the deal is with these things but I have WT, NT AND Drover here and they all have the same style of uni fitted.

Jack was great had more than one for ya fella
My jack shaft has a heap of wear where the red circle is, so I pulled out the spares box and found the WT one I stripped down.. going to take it down to a driveshaft place and just get em to match it up with the required uni, cbf stuffin round with it to be honest.. make it someone else's problem..
Is it possible to get the worn hole fixed or its pretty much binnable now?
i woulda used the WT shaft in its complete form, but the Xfer end is obviously set up with the smaller flange.. Bloody suzuki sizing! lol..

It is possible to build up a worn ear on a yoke but not financially viable on a zook.
Flanges are easily swapped between NT and WT ... All you need is 2 uni's..
Use the uni to suit the shaft and then use the caps off the other to suit the flange.
1.3 caps are all 25mm and trunion shafts are all same so they swap about easily...
I don't know about 1.0 stuff.
Internal clips = RUJ 1795
External clips = RUJ 1783

ahh your a champion 33
got a complete set of WT NT and 1.0's so somethin is bound to work!
NT Flange(female bit:lol:)from g/box|-- :Jackshaft from WT== :flange from NT to xfer =| so.. |--===| lol.. but im thinkin its going to require both inner and outer clips not 100% but thats what im guesstimating..

My drover lwb has external clips as well. Smaller bolt holes so am going to swap some bits over to put the wt diffs in. Using wt transfer so will use wt flanges and hopefully the joints can be swapped as suggested then the 0nly original bit will be the rear nt lwb shaft.
