Hi all

I am in 2 minds at the moment, I am going to get some Eagle alloys 058 style polished from the states, but I dont know weather to get them in 15x8 inch or 10inch wide. In NSW 8in is the largest allowed to be enginered but the 10 inch wide looks so sexy because of the big offset available.
Its going on my SPOA Sierra
check it out from the net
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... ink:top:en
or
http://aewheel.com/wheels_detail_specs.cfm?id=23
I have seen a set on RPM,s hardtop zook and they look great. I think he said they were the 8 inch wide
Will It be ok to run 10inch wide on a sierra (Wheel bearings)?
What should I do 8 or 10

Cheers

I guess 32-33s would look great, I have a set of Goodyear wrangler Muds to go on

I got a quote of around $1000 delivered from the states. I have heard that they sell gere in Oz at around $330 each

So look like a deal

Mate to run 15x10s they would be a huge offset and will kill ya wheelbearings quick smart
On my sierra i was running 15x8s with a fair bit of offset 33 inch procomps and my bearings were only lasting six months or so but thats doing 600 kays per week  but at the end of the day its your car so do what ya want to it just make sure you post up some pics :P
Oh yeah i do agree with ya though them eagle alloys do look fucken sweet 8)

go the 8's, 7 is better imo. 10 inch wide you will roll the tyre off the rim when aired down

I run these on my ute and they are a little more offset than most f100 rims
just so you know the rim is about 10mm thicker than a sierra rim therefor the wheelnuts are unable to be wound all the way onto the thread.
It hasnt caused me any greif in 5 years of use. Just means the wheelstuds stop about 2-3mm short of the face of the rim.
