OK, I know its not a Zook... but when It sells I can make room in the shed to work on another Zook .
OK seriously, you could use it to tow a trailered zook (thats my reasoning for now )
ITEM:
Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport
TO SUIT:
People who want an XJ
Probably someone who wants to tow a medium size boat/caravan/trailer etc would be suitable (or maybe a Zook....see above )
CONDITION:
Good
REASON FOR SELLING:
Too many cars
PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS:
$5,000 negotiable.
Not interested in swaps.
EXTRA INFO:
The Vehicle is a November 1995 build, 1996 delivered XJ Cherokee Sport. Has around ~223,000km on it.
Vehilce has not been trashed offroad, and has only seen light 4wding at very occasional intervals. There is no rust. The rear diff was rebuilt less than 12 months ago, and the rear LSD re-shimmed also. Engine and Auto regularly serviced. Vehicle is registered, and can be sold registered, but a safety certificate will only be organised once a serious buyer is found (unless they wish to organise this themselves).
Standard stuff:
6 cylinder 4.0L engine
4 speed auto
Transfer with Part time and Full time 4wd, dual range.
5 seater
Power steering
Air Conditioning (needs re-gasing)
Ski racks
rear LSD
Not standard bits:
235/75R15 Firestone Destination H/T tyres
Hayman and Reece Towbar
EFS 50mm/2" Suspension lift (rear springs suit towing)
Headlight loom upgraded with relays, wiring for spotlights, but spotlights not fitted
Alloy front bullbar (Is a Jeep one though)
CD player
LOCATION:
Ipswich (West of Brisbane, QLD).
CONTACT:
PM me (any questions or queries are OK).

edit: price drop

Should have guessed the reply was you
Add another 0 to the end of that and we might be somewhere
Even if I did sell it to you for $500, the people running the shitbox rally would deem it worth more than $1000, and buy it off you for $1

Scarilly, I believe you could
Thanks, it's been my Mum's shopping rig, and used to tow my fathers boat, hence it's had a reasonably easy life . They have both downgraded to diesel powered vehicles, so this has to go, and once it's gone, my father's Sierra looks like getting sold too . PS: The Sierra can't be had for $500 either shep

Chop a sierra SWB body into a ute, through it on the jeep chassis
and put a tray on behind. Would be different and deffinately sell.

XJ's are monocoque, no proper chassis
That's how they get them so light
In the states there was a ute version of the XJ available, think it was a Jeep Commanche.
