Hi,

I am about to start dismantling a 1989 Suzuki Vitara Manual Hardtop JLX. I bought it primarily for the engine, extractors, exhaust, custom front bar, some suspension parts & interior bits and pieces. Vehicle exterior is white with a grey interior if that makes any difference.

Parts that are gone from the hardtop:

Engine
Front Mirrors
Front Door Panels
Rear Interior Panels
Exhaust System
Wheels & Tires

All running gear in good condition, has rust in passenger front panel, passenger side front A panel and floor pan on passengers size. All other pars are in fair to good condition, but I will give more acurate condition and photos when requested.

I will be uploading photos tomorrow. All items are currently still located in the vehicle as I am planning on doing the engine removal tomorrow.

Due to using some of the parts from the Hartop into my 1991 Vitara Manual Softop JX, I have the following for sale from the softtop.

G16A engine (hydrolocked, so probably bent or broken conrod)
Standard Exhaust Manifold
Front Bumper
Front Mirrors (passengers size has broken glass)
Front Interior Panels
Rear Interior Panels
5x Standard Vitara Rims & Tires (from memory, 3 of the tires are good)

I am located in Bracken Ridge, Brisbanem QLD. I am also happy to ship items (either via Australia Post or if you arrange a courier).

If you want a specific part, let me know and I will have a look for you and let you know what the condition is like.

Prices are by offer as I honestly don't know how much the parts are worth.

Sorry guys. I jumped the gun and the vehicle hasn't been returned to me yet (pulling the engine to put into my other Vitara). The guy has had something come up and it won't be done till this comming week, so it should be back in my hands not this weekend, but the following. I'll be in contact with everyone then.

But to answer some of your questions:

No on the bumper, combo switch unit? and no on the steering wheel.

Yes I do, make an offer via PM - can send a photo of the inside of the bonnet as it's not 100% - the frame has broken away from the shell

Hi,

Nah the chassis is fine from what I can see, I've had a good look under it, and there's no obvious bends in it, and apart from a bit of surface rust here and there, there's no rust holes or anything like that, it's just the front A pillar all the way down the inside of the door that's rusted to hell. Obviously you'll be the last person as I'll have to strip everything else off it, but if your willing to wait, no problems whatsoever.

Hopefully I'll have it fully stripped and sold off in a month or so (well that's the plan anyway).... how much you willing to pay for it? (just so I can keep a track of what I'm getting back, as I have a target amount for all the parts to recoup some of the purchase price)...
