LJ50 soft top - suit restore.

This is not complete. Front panels there, but not really usable. Some rust in tub, floors ok. Have had it running/driving, but has carby issue and maybe a blown head gasket. 4 x bar treads on 1L sierra rims. It ain't pretty, but its a start.

Reason for getting rid of it - i also have Seirra, Range Rover and 2 x LR Discoveries, something has to go, or so SWMBO said

PM me if you want pix

Location - Dungowan, near Tamworth 2340.

Price - Tho a deal in Range Rover parts would be nice on my part, also interested in a trade on a biggish chainsaw or Sierra bits.

Rick

Yes floors are ok. It has a windscreen frame (poor condition) but no glass.

Rangie parts.......ARB front or rear bar, full length roof rack, JackMac/Maxi axles, stuff like that. What you got???

That's a fairly early LJ50! What's the build date on the compliance plate? 74, or first 1/2 of 75?

I sort of have a spare Disco, 3.5 auto. I bought it as a parts car for the missus's Disco and my Rangie. Besides a few oil leaks, its proberly a bit to good to wreck, body is in very good shape, interior is ok and runs well. I was going to pull the auto from it and swap it into my Rangie (has a LT77 in it now).
