why not go the new single row 5W ones. example being these. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 85021.html

there is also 5W double row ones as well. they are made exactly the same as the 3 watt ones. just look around.

if your buying a large amount then you could get them heaps cheaper then what that single price is.

2w? :thefinger:

I'd imagine its just packing more lumens into the same light housing. So you'd expect about 50% more output. Not sure if this is the case though....

Those spotties look the goods, Klutched.
Are you impressed by them? They are probably better in person than the photos too.
Pretty good prices on the light bars also.

Yeah very impressed with the spotties. Probably have to adjust them a little bit better, But yeah very bright.

The LED light bars are pretty cheap. Saw the 41inch on ebay for like $500 :/

Thanks for the reply. Do you have two spreads two spots on there?
So the final price for the last bunch of spotties were $127 inc gst and postage?
I might have convinced our supervisor to get some.

Yeah I'm running 2 spots in the middle 2 spread either side. I'm thinking about putting the spreads in the middle and the spots on the sides.
Yeah it was $127 per pair, They said if I order another load they'll do it at the same price :) Postage depends on where you live.
I will do another order if people are interested.

Sounds good. i would love to get my hands on one of the light bars if the finance minister approves. My dads 30 inch Rigid light bar is amazing but around $1000 :o If these are half as good i would still be more than impressed. I run a little 6inch bar under the tray of my Navara for camping and tail gating drivers, work a treat.

The guy on the 4WD show thats airs on 7's shopping channel said there no good for distance but that looks fine for a 4WD,not like its a Rally car.

LED's are better for distance then halogen or HID. i have a LED torch at home that easily tops 200m in throw and a head lamp that is pretty close to that.

both are single chip Cree LED 10W ~1000Lm Most of the throw is up to the optics tho as with any light.

Yeah, they don't go very far but they are a wide spread light so it covers more of the surroundings.
