SOLD for $2000
Summary:
Vitara G16b JLX Estate Wagon LWB Price: $2500 ono Location: Near Newcastle NSW (Floraville) Rego: June 2013 Kms: 267,000
Detail: Owner for ~6 years.Wife wants larger car in preparation for a family next year.
G16b engine (4 cyl, EFI) ~267,000kms. The engine is still strong, but it does leak around 500ml of oil per 10,000kms. It does not lose coolant. It has never overheated to my knowledge (never since I've owned it).Compression test results will be posted soon.
2012:Timing Belt Kit, Water Pump, coolant, Fuel Pump, battery, Fuel filter, Spark Plugs, as new Maxxiss 751 - 235/75/15 AT Tyres (spare is same size BFG A/T, but worn - still legal).
2011:New radiator, Front Wheel bearings, Plug leads, NSW National Parks Pass(went to the snow last year).
<2011: OME Suspension (Strut and springs),Strut Spacers(bruce),Hurricane Extractors,Rola Roof Tracks,tow bar.
Clutch and Rear Main seal done @ 190,000kms.
Being a 4x4 forum you probably dont care...but has been on the beach ~6 times, each time it has been throughly detailed(including underneath)the same day to ensure no salt water. Has been 4x4 in the bush a few times, but mostly just camping, muddy roads (and once again - always detailed).
A few cosmetic concerns shown in pictures, clearcoat going on the roof and bonnet. Mechanically it is good.Reasonably large sratch up the side, and various small ones from rescueing an injured friend: narrow trail of wattle trees.Dent in left rear panel.Only rust is the floor where the rear door meets. Most people have this standard rust location covered with a strip of plastic, but mine doesnt have the strip.
10.2L /100kms(I log all my kms). Power Windows, one rear window switch stops working every now and then (and fixes it self). I haven't bothered to replace it as we only have people in the back once in a blue moon.
I don't believe in hiding things,so please call and ask questions. Anytime between 8:30am and 7pm Monday-Friday, 8am-10pm Saturday, 12:30pm- 4:40pm Sunday. I will return calls ASAP if I miss them.
PM for mobile number - I don't want to put it in the thread and have spam bots searhing the forum.
Cheers Chris
