these look alright, wonder how the little fans will hold up with offroad use?

I wonder how they go without the proper reflectors?

I genuinely wonder. I'm not being a dick here.

As I said in the Ad I run these in my DRZ400 trail bike, as well as 3 mates running them in the V-Strom. Now I know a Sierra or Vitara will go through worst stuff then either of those bikes but in my opinion the fan is more show then anything. The housing is all Aluminium and after an hour of running you can easily place you hand on it.

By proper reflectors do you mean the little ones in a standard halogen bulb? If so then these work great, hard to see from the photos but when the bulb is placed in the headlight surround one of the 2 LEDs is facing up (low beam) and one is facing down which is high beam. High beam is even tilted slightly towards the main headlight reflector.

As they are LEDs the light is already directional so there is no need for "proper reflectors" that you would find in a halogen bulb.

I have run 4 different type of LED headlights. I have found ones, which as you would imagine give no definition between low and high beam. Just a constant flooded beam of light. The design in these headlights is by far the best I have come across. I wouldn't use them in my daily driver otherwise as I don't need or want any attention from the fuzz I can avoid.

Hope this has cleared up any of the questions or thoughts you may or may not of had :D

Just a quick update now the sun has gone down.
Here is the LED headlight at low beam from the side and direct on. As you can see in the direct on picture only the top of the lens is illuminated as it is with a halogen bulb.

And here is a picture taken direct on again this time on high beam as you can see now the bottom back of the lens is illuminated as well as the top as it is with a halogen bulb.

Again I hope this clears up any misconception you may have regarding an LED headlight. If it is built correctly for the application then as you can see there shouldn't be any issues.

By reflectors I mean the big shiny silver disk that makes up the back of the headlight.

But I think you answered my question. :-)
