Afternoon All,
Wondering if anyone would be interested in a project at the moment?
Have a 1989 wt Sierra soft top with all the bells and whistles, this is formally Damo's sierra, you can link to it
HERE.
Quick run down:
-twin air locked
-6.5 reduction gears with twin sticks
-32's with 16" 5 spoke alloys
-virtual lift to fit the 32's
-g16b (blue plated)
-RUF
-4 point roll bar
-chromo axles and probably more I've missed/dont know about.
There really isnt anything left to do to this car.
The body is rough and would probably require a sand and a rattle can job at least. There's a small amount of rust in the windscreen, front of the bonnet and a touch in the guards where the virtual lift was done. Very fixable.
The car had been sitting for a while when I purchased it and I had the intention of cleaning and freshening everything up but, unfortunately, other investments have meant it's only sat in my garage too. So I'm thinking of moving it onto someone who would want to finish it.
My estimate is that it needs about $500-$1000 into it to get it trail ready. Probably need another few hundred to get ready for the parking lot if ascetics are something you're concerned about. If i was going to continue with it, I would freshen up both diffs side to side, Tune the engine and give it a service, and replace the clutch an flywheel (comes with replacements).
I'd just be happy to get what it owes me, $4350. With the cash to get it all sorted above, it would be a very capable well priced Sierra.
You wouldnt buy a stock sierra and build it for this price. If you want to talk more about it flick me a message and we can discuss the car further.
Thanks for your time,
5ierra
