I've had a set of those in the LJ, I put the original springs back in and it's 4" lower! Rode like a series Landy with those springs though. :lol:

Hi All,

Sideways, you know you can remove leaves to adjust the stiffness, these springs are for a LWB carrying a load.

On ebay at the moment is my Snake Racing set of greasable shackles, below is a photo and link:

That's why I pulled them out. :wink: They were in my LJ81 when I got it, they're going in the LJ80v with a few leaves pulled. :)

How much longer than standard are those shackles?

That's the first LJ tow bar I've seen that doesn't look totally home made. :lol:

Sideways, yes it is neater than most of the ones that I have seen too, some of them cut out of angle and some bent with crude tools, this one has a back up plate as well.

TZAR, And I thought I was the only one who has held on to them all these years. Sold my last LJ50 seat on sunday and I am always getting asked for them, in time someone will start making reproductions and they will be looking for springs. In a weeks time, we will know the current market value for 6 of them! Post on here if you want to sell yours and I will let the ebay bidders know that you have some?
