Not being a banana bender, what is wrong with after market induction airfilters ?

Post subject:  Re: Turbo Zook

Fairly certain all it says for air filter modifictions is the car must have a functional air filter.

Seems functional to me.

Had a pod on my GTi for years and got caught in look downs at southport carpark a few times and never got defected for it.

Just pulled out cert saying it passes ADR's and away I went.

32's on the other hand is outside the rules I'm pretty sure.

Post subject:  Re: Turbo Zook

They aren't. And he recognised that fact several posts ago.

And who cares if this thing is legal? If you can get it registered then thats fuckin awesome!!

Personally I'd lose the BL, but the rest should slip through the net.

Post subject:  Re: Turbo Zook

exactly and its quiet possible to get it done you just need to find the right people. the previous owner had it on the road and todd hasnt had it on the road as he dosnt have a license so no point in it.

My point is that if some noob buys it thinking it is legal, they have every right to be pissed off. State the facts, then no one has any recourse.

Yes but if someone buys it not knowing transport regulations etc then that is their problem not his!

If someone gets caught speeding because they can't read the road signs it's still their fault not the signs.

good luck mate with the sell ..

Post subject:  Re: Turbo Zook

the only reason every one is going on about this is that it is turboed and big engine. 9 out of 10 cars sold on here have got to big a wheels and unapproved body lifts and so forth but stock engines. but really this engine is completely compliant, the only thing that's not compliant is basically the same mods you guys all run so let him sell his car.

Post subject:  Re: Turbo Zook

Yeah this car is mild as. Scrappy little turbo system, small 32's and a few inches of lift  . All of you should stop acting like tards and find some cash to buy it 8)
