I have a 4.09 (or 4.1) front Jimny diff centre for sale. Seems to be in good condition and was removed working perfectly fine except my rear diff is 4.3. Used in 4WD in my car only a couple of times. Asking $200 I also have a complete front end disc to disc (or hub to hub). I am pretty sure it was pulled from a written off 2002 Jimny which means its probably a 4.09. I was driving it for a while with no dramas. Have had it checked over and been told its in good condition. Complete with sway bar and brackets. If your serious about it, I will pull it apart and check the ratio. Asking $700 Bracken Ridge |

Just wasn't sure how accurate it would be to tell if both wheels don't turn at the same speed when sitting on the ground And its Vacuum hubs. |

Ok, just tried it. I guess vacuum hubs are 'normaly' locked. I did not realise this. I made sure 1 wheel did not turn, marked start point for diff input and other wheel stub (after backlash), rotated the input to get two full revolutions of the wheel stub. Input mark ended up at about '1' on a 10 point clock after 4 complete revolutions. SO, that makes it a 4.1(4.09). |
