OK so start this thread again as dunno what happened to the old one. Selling my 1996 Suzuki Stockman reluctantly due to financial difficulties from surgerys, etc. I just cant afford to pay 2 regos and run 2 cars. This stockman would have to be one of the best conditioned sierras I've seen in Perth. Perfectly straight, no rust at all, extremely tidy, has original 1lt engine with the 4 speed box, and still only 68,000 k's on it. With it being a maruti, its has the WT 4.1 diffs, and the 1lt transfer case. I've spent well over $3000 on it in the last 3 months in the way of -2 inch OME spring lift -RUF conversion -New shocks -2inch bodylift -Tonneau cover from MUcanvas -Suzuki swift seat upgrade -Coily door trims -TSOR fuel tank guard -Digital tacho -New 31" Maxxis Bighorns on 15x7 King rims -New CD player and speakers -Window tint -Full service inc. plugs, filters, dizzy leads, all oils, etc -New battery Plus more I cant think of now. Its drives great and its only downfall is the little 1lt engine, with a max speed of 90k/ph making long distances a bit hard. No noise from the transfer or gearbox, etc. Starts everytime, is extremely reliable. I've tried to look at it from every angle in order to keep it, as I know how hard they are to find in this condition, but it just cant be done. Maybe later down the track if I can scrape some cash togethor, I'll buy a cheap sierra to become a trailor queen. Price is $6800 ono Located in Perth

so nice mate, good luck with the sale. if only it was a 1.3 or had a conversion as i may be looking into getting a new zook soon, but want one for touring with some offroading, but this would make touring quite hard. |

You could make up a lockable lid to go on the back, like some utes have with gas truts, or bolt in some tool boxes, and put your stuff in them... |

If I had the cash the first I would have got some crawler gears. Then put a baleno motor in, had a mate pick one up for his from pickles last week for 400 with only 108k's on it Then was gonna see what Mr Rocky came up with for his Ute as he's making a lockable hard lid for his. But obviously I have no $$$ If any wants to make a serious offer, then ya never know, ya might catch me on a good day |

You could pay someone to drive it over, then a cheap flight back, would maybe workout cheaper than getting it transported over... |

Sold it too a bloke who had 4 sierras, and needed 6 more. Him and his mates were planning some sort or trip, but the rules were you could only go in a sierra, nothing else. He couldnt get mine quick enough, pride of his fleet he reckons. He'd never heard of auszookers before, but I put him onto it. |

yeah i know of the bloke, apparently he's uber loaded and planning a trip with all his rich mates across oz in sierra's, i like the part where they havent even driven a zuk offroad before, he just finds em, drops them at suzistore for full ground up resto's with jimny/vit motors and a blank chequebook. At last check they were doing them at about 20-25k a pop for him, look pretty awsome when finished tho |

Last year they did it on motorbikes, this year its sierras, so I reckon in about 6 months time keep an eye out for about 10 sierras for sale, all modded with new donks, lifts the lot. And yeah my initial thoughts were he has alot of $$$ |

Kinda knew he didnt know too much about suzuki's when he asked if he could just throw away the maruti hard top and cab, and replace it with a LWB canopy Its kinda like those people that go the markets, pick something up for $20, only to have antique roadshow tell em its worth $20 000! |
