Whats the window regulator? Is that part of the up/down mechanism?

This is what I was thinking.

Are yours in good condition? I need to open my doors and have a look whether mine are or not, they clunk and grind and carry on, I don't know if they need a lube or replacing.

EDIT: That's take off the door cards and have a look, I realise merely opening the doors on the car wouldn't show me this :P

Yeah they're good. The doors are still complete so you can have a look at them working if you like.

Cool as, well I'm heading out now to get some silicone spray (lube) and if that doesn't fix it I'll be back here asking about the window regulators!
Thanks for the info.

EDIT: Also, what condition is the rear seat in? I just pulled mine out to try and get the locking mechanism working better and the seats are cactus, if yours is in good/better condition it might be worth a look.

Hey damo, I might put my hand up for the two window regulators (as long as they aren't more clapped out than mine)

Which side of Brisbane are you on? I'm on the Gold Coast so hopefully you're on the souther side :)

As a side note, while the silicon spray did make the windows HEAPS easier to wind in both directions, now the bloody thing (only did drivers door) falls down on it's own...

I'll put the $40 aside and wait to hear where you're located.

I reckon it's going to be a PITA to replace them though :(

They're not that hard to replace, you should be right.

Sending you a PM now.
