Coopers is really just a bit of fun, short course, 5-10 minute runs why dont you try something more competetive like some long course offroad racing you will really test yourself and your car and you may just love it. You have done so much work on that car it would be a shame to see someone else racing it or it retired to a daily driver for someone.

Coopers is now about 20-30 min tracks but they seem to be the same each round I've been racing Coopers for 4 year 3 years in the zuk and the rules really need to be enforced the ladies class need to be changed for the girls can be in classes and have the same prizes as the men. Ladies end of yr prize is a jacket mens prizes are Cooper tyre voucher of $500 or $600 which isn't fare. And what else isn't fair is that me in my 1.3 efi basically srandard (compaired to everything else out there)is racing againt chapmans which race in the aorc and the park ute against the daughter that helps choose the tracks it's not fair for the little people. If they had a standard and mod class for the ladies in coopers then it would be better. If they get there start times right they say briefing at 9 start at 9.30 but it ends up being almost lunch time coz people are taking there time, then u don't have much time to repair during races if u break something or re run if someone infront of u stops on the track Like last time I raced someone rolled but the officals didn't tell the people who were already on the track that there was helpers coming the wrong way along the track in the middle of my race I almost ran up the arse of another competitor as he was going slow to go around the helpers coming the other way. Then the second car stopes for like 5 mins chatting to the other competitor and I was waiting then they moved out the way so I could
get past and when I got to the end they weren't gonna let me re run untill I said I have it on video if u want me to prove it. So they said I could have another go but while I was arguing that my pit crew noticed that my brand new timing belt was about to snap so steve jumped in my car and raced to the nearest shop that had one in stock which was in Albion (brisbane) raced back installed it then they tell me that I can't rerun coz it everyone else had already finished and they'll only knock 2 mind off my time from the race that I was held up for ages. They would even give me the time I had in my race on that same track earlier that day.
So untill they sort there shit out I don't want to compete in it

Yeah I can see what you are saying but that is what most comps are like not just LCMP. Instead of going into modified engine class we raced a standard "well tuned" 1300 , we had fun, we were not ever thinking we would win or place in events. A Suzuki is just not competitive in either class, there is no way on the planet (unless they crashes or break something) that a standard or for that matter modified Suzuki is going to stay with Clayton Chapmans Triton or Ben DeBrueys Cherokee, a 3 litre v6 and a 4 litre straight six, both have heaps of power, both have awesome suspension mods and both are being driven by exceptionally talented drivers, they are in the same class as a stock Suzuki 1300cc with a roll cage and about $500 worth of suspension. Unfortunately some of the fast Suzuki's had called it a day before you started racing, we didn't worry about how we went against anything but the other Suzuki's in the field. Also there doesn't seem to be many women racing anymore so you are only competing against the same one or two which would make it hard. I would have loved to see a class for under 2 litre, if that came in I would be starting to build a car tommorrow and I know or a few people that would drag their suzukis out fr a run.
