Building a new car and doing something different

Have you ever bent the stock weak Suzuki Vitara idler arm, or even snapped it completely off? Then this part is for you. What they did was take solid stock 1018 steel, machined to match the stock arm in critical dimensions.
Next they machine it to fit massive UHMW bushings. UHMW is self lubricating as well to provide years of trouble free service.
Then they enlarged the shaft itself followed by building a new much stronger mounting bracket.
One very beefy idler arm is the result!
