BlueSuzy mate any fool could get on here without actually looking at the spec and build up of your blue WT's and say it is worth $2000 because they have seen them on ebay that cheap.
Give this guy a break, he has obviously put a great deal of time and money into what are now considered to be a hard to get and sougth after vehicle.
Good luck with the sale mate.

This thing is cool. If I didn't already have a van, I'd snap this up!

X2.
I can see way more than $6K worth of parts, blood and sweat. If I could physically fit in one of these things I'd consider it as a cheap run around

i agree, all that work & then to paint it in drab olive green... really should have been painted in the original colour considering it's been fully rebuilt.

Yep, and LJ's were probably even cheaper and worth a lot more now in good nick.
Nice Carry if you ask me and as others have said - it's obvious a lot of work has gone into this. Those that haven't been involved in a full restore probably can't appreciate the effort.

it seems there are some that will just put other peoples hard work down, i have built this van by myself with many hours hard work. everything mechanical is new not rebuilt ant these vans are very hard to find in good condition. i do agree i should have painted it a different color but the paint has a few unique features such as it is anti infer red ( which means it does not show up on infer red cameras and cuts down heat inside van ) it is chemical resistant and its easy to touch up. i have just tinted windows today and it looks great. i know its not everybodys cup of tea but to someone that wants an unique van that will last many years its a great find. so if you have nothing better to do than put people down its better you stay off this site

why do people always have to point out what they dont like or what they think is wrong with it ?
if you really dont like it or think its to much why not just hit back on your top left corner ??
and 6k realy isent asking that much you see shit condition ones and people ask 3k for em because "they are hard to get"
good luck with your sale mate ! if the right person see's it you wont need luck.

Mate thats a classy rebuild.
If you can afford to store it somewhere nice and dry for another 10yrs I reckon this things will only go up in value. Best places to store cars are out in western qld but not in flood areas of course.
