Hi superzooker, got your PM and have replied. In answer to your question, I have a little person on the scene now and need to focus my attention on him. Plus most of my mates that used to go wheelin' don't anymore for similar reasons- lack of time. =( |

hegs218 wrote: hey mate bit of a silly question but what would u need for a RWC to get it reg'ed in vic Hi Hegs, Not that I've had it assessed for RWC recently, but you'd need to put the 31's on for the inspection as that's what it's technically allowed to have on the road. The overall weight on the weigh bridge may require the front bar/winch to come off to meet the criteria- just a standard sierra bumper would pass. Windscreen is fine (no chips or 'sandblasted'), but they may pick that if they want to be difficult. Apart from that, I'm not a RWC assessor so that's all I can think of to answer your question. The mods have an engineers cert to allow it to pass for those. Happy for you to have a look one evening or over the weekend if you wish to. Cheers, Mike. |

Hi Shiv, Sending you a PM with link to extra pics. I'm unsure what the requirements are for a Blue Slip up in NSW. Maybe one of the new south boys could comment on that? I know down here, you'd need the 31's on and take the front bar/winch off temporarily and put a std sierra bumper on for the weigh bridge to get re-reg. Cheers, Mike |
