Up for sale is a Genuine Weber 38/38 dual accelerator pump DGMS and inlet manifold for a direct bolt on to G16a's. Complete conversion.

The weber is in like new condition. It has been jetted to suit a G16a. Redline two piece single port adapter plate has been used, inlet manifold has been machined to match adapter plate. Carb fuel inlet also fitted with return line to stop excessive fuel pressure buildup. All acc vacuum lines have been plugged as they are not used. Also comes with all original paperwork, Various jets for low speed and main jets, Custom made accelerator cable, Weber air filter, New inlet manifold gasket, Brand new two piece adapter and gaskets and all original fasteners including studs and nuts.

The inlet manifold also has a new 82* Thermostat installed and a new temp sender.
This kit really makes the g16a roar to life!

Next up is a G16a Camshaft reground by Crow Cams

The cam has been reground for better low down torque. Comes with original paperwork as seen below.

What sort of rev range has the torque been improved in? Did you have it in yours and if so did you notice much difference?

My engine setup is a g16ba block with a 1.3 head, will this fit it? I am having carbie issues so this would be perfect it it bolted straight up.

Yes. All the parts are included for the conversion. That is the same engine it came off.

The torque was increased from as low as 1000rpm to 3500rpm. This was clearly obvious in low range. Hills I normally do in 1st low the car would actually pull up in 2nd low and still be able to accelerate under load.

I had the carb installed as you see it on the inlet manifold, with the fuel bowl towards the firewall.

The only time did it present an issue is going down VERY steep hills. The carb would overfuel slightly. Float level has been to set nice and low as per the weber manual for off road use to minimize this.

Going up hills, down your average hill, side angles are not a problem.

Was anything else needed? ie stiffer springs etc when installing the cam or are the stock ones ok?
I'm looking at a rebuild in the near future so this would be the perfect time to put in the cam!
