Gidday all,
I just discovered a rather dusty carton in my shed that I have no use for.

labelled as shown below:

"Federal Mogul Stirling Pistons"
Suzuki 970cc 1982 - on
4 cyl. A12213P 0.75
part no. JM size

carton has 4 pistons/ gudgeons/ circlips.
I have no idea when I got them- or what they are worth, but if you have a use for them - let me know.

Stephen

Are they new or used?

I just pulled the motor out of my Sierra, I was only planning on doing a top end rebuild but when the world offers you parts.... :)

As far as I can tell they are new- gudgeons are fitted to a couple, circlips and gudgeons for the others are still in the original bags inside the carton.
There are no rings in the box though.

I honestly have no idea where or when I got them (we need a head scratching smily)
They probably came with the accumulation of parts in the back of one of the LJ's many years ago. We did a lot of swapping of bits between several farm LJ's over the years and went through several wrecks worth of parts to keep them running. Possibly from a clearing sale at another farm in the area sometime in the late 80's.

If you want the pistons they are all yours- they almost went in the bin with some of the bits that fell off our old hyundai on a semi-regular basis.
SWMBO was making noise about all of the what she call "junk" in my shed- so I was doing a token chuck out while she was watching- then rescued the pistons when she went in to make cuppas.

it might pay to check the part number to see if they match your zook first!
