G'day got the jimny alloy front bar for sale from MIC.

Great little bar, looks really aggressive and really light (under 20kg) so doesn't reduce performance. I bought it new about a 3months ago for $600

I'd like $400 for it.

located in sydney in epping area

Cheers, John.

I'm guessing for $580, it's not the alloy winch bar, so it's probably this one.

A location might help too.

I have an ARB and have a thread on here regarding this. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32169

If your bar is any good I would consider a swap. I am in northern NSW.

I would describe my bar as good condition, see my build thread viewtopic.php?f=4&t=31455 although it seems all those pics are when the bar is dirty... perhaps I should arrange a clean pic, looking at your car LOL

Yeh mate sounds alright. The bar is almost brand new, not a mark on it. Wouldn't be as strong as the arb but yeh its light and looks aggressive and gives a really good access angle but would still be strong enough to clear a path.

Haha yep the cars looking hell noob at the moment but hopefully get lift and snorkel soon

Our only problem will be getting to see each others cars in the flesh to decide if we wanna swap, and to do the swap...

I rarely go down your way, and If I did, it would be with my family in our other car.

I don't suppose you venture north at all?

Twojay why dont you like your new bar? Why do you want a heavier, steel one, if not to install a winch?

I like the bar, being so light is a huge advantage of it but just looking to put on a winch at some point and also planing on doing a few outback trips when I get the car sorted so looking for a bit more protection round the headlights for the roos

Fair enuf. I don't want a winch so I would prefer to shed the excess weight.

I think I'd be happy with a straight swap if you are satisfied with the condition of mine but I think it would be best if you saw it in person...

Twojay can you let me know if you have any interest in my ARB winch bar?

I am in the midst of an engine swap and may end up mounting the new transmission cooler in the bar, dont wanna go drilling any holes in it if you are interested in swapping

Yeah the distance is my drama too. Especially with a 5 day old baby...

I think I'll cut out the winch area for a tranny cooler vent and live with the weight, i have a m15a going in ATM anyway
