ITEM: Toyota Landcruiser 2005 Diesel 4.2L HZJ-105R CONDITION: Very good REASON FOR SELLING: Brought a new Landcruiser PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: $35,000 ono EXTRA INFO/CONTACT DETAILS: Reply to my email LOCATION: Munster/Spearwood PICTURES: See below/attached
Unfortunately, time has come for me to part with my ever relilable Toyota Landcruiser 2005 Diesel 4.2L (HZJ-105R)
This is the last of the true outback vehicle that Toyota has built with solid axles AND coils all round for comfort, flex, reliability and offroad performance.
If you’re looking for a clean Toyota Landcruiser diesel that has seen very little offroad work, then look no further.
I must have looked at about 30-40 Landcruisers for over 8 months before I brought this vehicle nearly 3yrs ago. I picked it up when it just clicked over 150,000km and all the services along with maintenance was carried out on the vehicle. According to the previous owner the timing belt was changed at 100,000km but I wanted to make sure everything was OK so it also got changed at 150,000km along with all diff/gearbox/transfer/brake/clutch oils, and fuel/air/oil filters.
Due to being my daily driver, I replaced the front bearings along with brand new front discs to make sure I have years of trouble free driving
This weekend just gone, it clicked over 200,000km and I have just replaced the rear discs along with front and rear brake pads, changed the brake fluid again, did a major service replacing fuel and air filter. Only thing that needs to be done is change the radiator fluid which I didn’t have time to purchase from Toyota (will probably buy this week and replace on the weekend)
Apart from normal book services, the oil and oil filter get regularly changed every 5,000km with Caltex Delo400
The car has no rust or any dents anywhere (which is truly a credit to the previous owner) and has not been used and abused on a mine site like 90% of the others
Apart from all the factory standards, the car has:
• Just clicked over 200,000km • Full 3” Pedders lift kit • D-Gas fitted (worth about $5K) which give you more power plus a range of over 1200km with the dual tanks • Aluminium rear draws with heavy duty rollers • Dual batteries with Redarc isolator • UHF with 6.6dB GME antenna • Alpine stereo with USB reader • Anderson plug in the back for fridge • Snorkel • ARB Bullbar • Lightforce 180 strikers • Custom made aluminium roof rack (flat rear to fit a roof top tent) • ARB Awning (2.5mtr x 2.5mtr) • HD recovery hooks on the front • Reece tow hitch on the back (with removable tow ball) • Darkest legal tint • Side steps • Dashmat • Updated HIR 60W globes • Bonnet stone/chip protector • Window weather shields • 16” ROH International rims with Maxxis Bravo Radial 751 tyres at about 40% (brand new spare) • No dents or rust anywhere on the car
Being daily driven through the town and open roads the car gets 1000km from the 130L tank so it uses about 13L/100km (90L main and the 40L sub) A 30L D-Gas system was fitted by the previous owner which increases your range to about 1200km and gives you increased performance (about $18 to fill the tank)
I haven’t had any problems with the car what so ever and the only reason I’m selling it is because I’ve already brought a new Landcruiser which should be here within next two weeks. Even though I’ve already brought the other car, I’m not in any hurry to sell the vehicle so please, no stupid offers
I promise that the car will not disappoint
