Some of the stuff looks good
The old kettle design is so efficient, its amazing that design hasn't made a bigger comeback.
I didn't see it listed, but if there is an old blacksmiths vice in there, keep it for yourself they are fantastic.

stephen - hold onto it as long as you can... the prices i'm selling this shit at is incredible.
its funny too - we found a complete old big red telephone box today (worth around $2000, yes, two thousand) in the shed on the side of the house... i wasnt even surprised he had it... just like the hand water pump we're selling for $500 (cos its worth that and then some) which is from a waterfall in new york... how the fuck did my granddad get a water pumper from a waterfall in new york?!?!

IIRC (its been a while since I saw one of these pumps) the Gould company dates to pre civil war, the foundry is (or was) in a town called Seneca Falls, in New York state. The pumps were sold all around the world. It probably wouldnt take much to get it going again- only needing honing out and a set of windmill buckets (leather or neoprene seals) to sort it.
Most have been scrapped since electric pumps and scheme water made them redundant, during the wars- scrap metal was in huge demand and thats where they went. My old Ajax was dug out of a backyard when a pool was being installed- it survived being blown up when I broke up old foundations for a mate- the pump was buried next to the foundations of an old wash-house, next to where the well had been.

just did a quick google- Gould pumps are still in operation- but doing modern electric pumps, and look like a huge industrial company these days. I couldnt find a mention of your old pump though.

You're spot on with the pump... its got seneca falls NY on the side.
its actually fully working, including the ball valve in the bottom.
my research online says they sell for $500+, a few people who have seen it reckon i'll have no trouble selling it for that too, which is great news for my granddad.

Stick to your price on the pump- you will get it. There will be a lot of antique shop dealers going through your stuff and trying to beat your prices down. You wouldnt believe the prices they put on stuff in the shops. One shop in Guildford had a rusted and siezed rock drill for $1500.00, same model as the one I was using that cost me $200 + a carton. Knackered 40mm drill rods @ triple the price of new ones (600mm x 40mm drill rod = $60 at the time) or old .303 ammo boxes @ $80+, cloth .303 bandoliers @ $20.00 each, .303 charger clips @ $5 each I could probably finance a few months of retirement with boxes and bando's.

^^ maybe you should do just that!
anything blood related (firearms, tobacco and oil/petrol) sells for a fortune.

Sold the old red phone box yesterday for $1650 =)
Also sold a bunch of old die-cast cars for $350 to a collector, they're probably worth around $500 so he got a bargain there.
