Engine and driveline-1.8L 4 cyl Turbo
-Ca18det Nissan 180sx
-Engine rebuilt at time of conversion, new rings, bearings, seals and gaskets, honed, acid dipped and painted, head valve seals replaced.
-All engine components are standard for reliability reasons. Oil pump replaced with brand new unit. Turbo is standard t25 with no shaft play.
Engine is on 8psi stock which makes 104.5rwkw, it was also dynoed at 15psi which made 125.3 rwkw. I drive it on 8psi.
- engine oil changed religiously every 5000k's (usually before that as speedo cable is broken)
- 2.5inch front exhaust from dump pipe, hotdog and triple flow muffler
-I have dyno sheets which show power, psi and a/f ratio.
-Gearbox is ca18det, standard internals, not rebuilt at conversion as it was in perfect running order. Ca20 pintara clutch master/slave cylinder was used and pedal converted to push rather than cable pull system. Clutch is standard fitment unit with plenty of bite.
-Jackshaft is half Nissan 720 and half Suzuki, shortened and balanced by Weatherhead Engineering (tas), front and rear tailshafts received same treatment however are all Suzuki OEM.
- transfer case is sierra fitted with 6.5:1 gearing with RokToy ring reinforcement.
-diffs are standard NT with standard internals, open front and rear diffs
I do have WT diffs here with WT to NT spring perches (cnc machined by Twin Sticks Offroad) which can go with the sale. The diff ratios are now WT 3.7's as I wanted to slightly lower the revs at highway speeds, which are currently at 3350 rpm with 34's. (not included in sale)
- rear disc brake conversion using kit from LROR, standard sierra front calipers and discs, LROR proportioning valve
- tyres included with sale are 31x10.5 BFG mud terrains (worn) on 15x8 rims. (not engineered as rims give to much offset). The tyres that it was engineered with were 30x9.5 highway terrains on 15x7 rims which can be included in the sale for no extra.
Please note that the 34 Swampers will NOT be included in the sale.
Radiator is brand new Mazda 323 with thermo fan, I also have an aftermarket mechanical temp gauge. The vehicle does not get hot.
Custom intercooler sits as the new grill.
Vitara Power steering, including box, pump, lines, reservoir, LROR box wedge. Custom rod from steering wheel to box with uni joints at either end.
Suspension:Standard Sierra rear leaf springs (modified pack) used up front in RUF conversion. Chassis extension of 40mm.
Mazda 808 rear leave springs in rear with rear shackle hanger moved 3 inch back.
Standard Shackles
Nice soft ride (for a Suzuki)
Front Shocks - VS commodore sedan rears
Rear shocks - Hiace
Front sway bar attached
All items are

VSB14 NCOP regulations (over $1000 worth of fees)
I can provide by email or fax this document which shows all approved modifications
I have owned this since 2007 and built it myself from the ground up. If you need any other information please do not hesitate to ask, I am more than happy to help.
I would love to see this go to a true Suzuki enthusiast, not destroyed.
I do have this advertised elsewhere so please let me know if you are an AZ member.
This car has been featured in 4wd Custom magazine in 2008 however it has been through several modifications since then (used to have a supercharged G13bb). The wanted to come down again this year however I told them no.
Items not included in sale-Tyres
-Winch
-Spotlights
-UHF
-Stereo gear(head unit and front speakers included)
Bad Points-Speedo cable broken
-handbrake does not work (EL falcon lever, and transfer case drum brake, just no cable.)
-Drivers winder is a little hard to wind up, it still does go up, it just doesn't glide
-Transfer case flange and rear diff flange are parallel, however does get some axle wrap if driven in anger. I was going to build a wrap bar and I have some bits so far. Would be beneficial in the future, or just coil the rear
- rear section of exhaust was cut off to made room for the long range tank. Now exits under the car, have been looking to exit out the side but nothing is completed as yet.
Paint not perfect, dent in RH rear quarter (from Jeep track, Mt Skene Vic!

Small amount of rust at bottom of B pillar
