Just a brief description to get the worm out at the moment, it is time for me to part ways with OOZUK.
For details of the car please refer to my build thread.
Sierra LWB maruti style chopped ute.
1.6 vitara turbo correctly built for boost running haltech
Half way through a aw4 conversion
Airlocker front (currently being rebuilt)
Vitara rear diff install in progress with new vitata air locker
Comes with a heap of spare parts and panels
Asking $6000 unregistered as is.
Anybody who knows this car knows it is a total bargain, I have spent more than this under the bonnet.
I don't want to be lowballed on the price as I think it is more than fair for its current non running condition.
I will post hopefully later today with current photos of condition and what it comes with.
You can call me on 0430222372 (steve)
I would like to see this go to a good home where it will be finished and used on the trails like it should.
OK Update....

I psychically don't have space for it anymore or the time to finish it and enjoy it as you can see.
here is some of the spares,

Current condition:
ENGINE:
Fully operational and freshly rebuilt approx 5000km's ago, it makes great useable power across the rev range. it is a G16B 16V balanced with slight head work, decompressed pistons, running a garret T25 turbo, fuel fuel system supporting the current turbo setup, Engine management is a Haltech E6K tuned by P.I.T.S. and it starts easy from cold and runs extremely well.
here is a video to prove the engine is in great running condition

the engine is also fitted with an endless air system, it needs one o-ring on the discharge side which is easy to replace, it started leaking on my last trip to the springs 4wd park.
TRANSMISSION:
Comes with a 5 speed manual currently removed, I was in the middle of an AW4 vitara conversion, i have made cuts to the transmission tunnel and the gearbox cross member to get the transmission to fit, the auto is currently bolted to the engine for the purpose of checking clearances, The flex plate is bolted to the engine so the engine can be started and run but the torque converter has been left out until the final install of the auto, I have purchased a Trailtough tailshaft adapter kit the tailshaft has been cut down and just needs to made to connect to the transfer case. It comes with two new transmission oil coolers to be fitted, the factory wiring and controller for the auto, the factory shifter and shifter cable, the kickdown cable. still to be done- fabricate a gearbox mount, Fabricate tailshaft to transfer case, connect the kickdown cable to the throttle cable, purchase a AW4 controller from JrZook and install.
TRANSFER CASE:
sierra transfer case with Trailtough 4.19 crawler gears, Rebuilt with new bearings and seals when gears were installed, transfer has also been fitted with a mighty kong and rocktoy ring transfercase cradles, it still uses the factory rubber mounts (they act as a fuse) these were never a problem as the car would wheelspin everywhere on the trails when the foot was buried.
FRONT DIFF:
Sierra WT Front housing laminated and gusseted (currently under the car), running Double tough crmo CV's (currently removed for inspection) are in excellent condition. 4.6 Ratio with ARB Airlocker, i had removed the airlocker as i had some bolts come loose in the locker, the locker has been rebuilt and repaired and to be fitted to the car.
REAR DIFF:
Vitara Rear housing (not currently fitted to the car) stripped down with all the brackets removed ready for a full floater conversion, comes with 4.6 Vitara ratio to match front, NEW Arb airlocker Gwagensteve full floater adapter plates, sierra spindles with new wheel bearings to be fitted, also with vitara axle drive plates. I was planning to replicate Gwagensteve's rear axle under mine. once this rear axle was cut and all welded together i planned to order a pair of 300M axles from USA (i was quoted $500 us plus freight)
here is the link for how to complete the modification
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=38240Currently the car is sitting on a SPUA NT rear housing so the car can roll.
WHEELS:
4x 15x8 mechanical beadlock rims with big offset running a set of old Bias micky thompson claws 33x13.5x15 the spare is a non beadlock 15x7 33x12.5 worn BFG mud worn
BODY:
The cab is painted in ford blueprint blue pearl, there is a small but of trail damage on the R/H/R quarter panel and also a little rust spot on the front of the bonnet where the paint has bubbled. For what it is, when it's washed it looks great !!
INTERIOR:
type 2 GTI seats sitting in there but not currently bolted in, comes with 4pt racing harnesses and factory seatbelts not bolted in currently, has internal roll cage fabricated from 350CDW DOM tubing, there is an array of autometer gauges on the dash, all operational except for the airfuel ratio gauge, it needs a wideband oxygen sensor to be fitted to the turbo dump pipe and wired up then it will work, a GME uhf radio and Garmin GPS 126 dash mounted GPS are also fitted
SPARES INCLUDED:
sierra bonnet
2x Sierra full doors
2x spare front WT diff housings (one SPUA and other SPOA)
4x spare springs
5x spare diffs of various ratios (vitara and sierra)
Vitara rear coils, coil chassis mounts, and coil spring perches for the vitara diff conversion
spare G16 engine block (not usable) for mocking purposes of brackets and such
5x spare standard size vitara wheels and tires with legal tread
this car is aimed at someone that can appreciate it for what it is, a project, there is a bit of work to be done to get it going again, anybody who thinks they are going to drag this home and wrench on it for a weekend and hit the trails they have rocks in their heads lol
but once finished you will have one of the coolest sierra's in Australia !
For me to build this car it would of cost me close to $20'000 to date, so i think $6000 in it's current state is quite a fair price.
I'm sure i've missed a few things here but please feel free to call and ask questions.
and for the people that just skim when they read,
the car is sold as is where is Not Registeredand the OOZUK plates will stay with me as a memento of the car.
