Selling my Grand Vitara on here and here only. Not on gumtree or anywhere else because Id like to see it go to a Suzuki fan. Not in a rush to sell and will keep it if I get no interest. Very reliable and have just got back from a 1000km round trip. Goes everywhere!!! Great 4x4.

1998 Auto with aftermarket cruise control. All works well.

things i've added

- 2" lift with dobinson front struts and camira rear shocks
- Custom JML steel winch bar
- Free wheeling hubs
- roof racks
- basket
- Towbar
- UHF
- rear work lamp
- shovel holder with long handle shovel
- narva spot lights (not hooked up)
- Clarion head unit and speakers
- 225 75 16 all terrains

Bad points

- slight smoke every now and then on start up (will require valve stem seals replaced eventually)
- a few slight oil leaks
- Slight exhaust leak from exhaust flange
- paint fade on roof
- rear bumper has damage

Its generally in great condition for a 16 year old vehicle. Very reliable.

Probs dreaming a bit, can find newer GV's with less kays for around the same money.

Would it pass a roadworthy down there with the bigger tyres and oil leaks?

I just brought a 1998 manual with 190,000 K's on it for $865 It needed O2 sensors and it passed blue slip rego in NSW.

Honestly, you're probably better off taking all the good bits off and putting the stock parts back on if you have them, then sell the good bits. I know the lift would get snatched up pretty quick and I'd assume the same with the front bar.

Yeah I know. However I really don't have the time or energy to be able to do that. The reason for sale is that I'm never home and travel for work more than I'm home.

I could sell the bar 10 times over haha.
