i'm not in the market but more info could help

Do they reduce low range only or low and hi?
can anything be done to fit them to 2.0l or 2.5l gv's? as in case swaps or gearbox swaps? (i don't know xl7 specifics)

Answers to these might give people some ideas.

Price seems about right...

They only reduce low range. Not sure on gearbox swaps.

They will not fit. These are for the XL7 gearbox.

Doesn't the transfer case need a little bit of meat taken out of the inside of it? Not that it's a huge hassle, but it's not exactly 'bolt in' from what I remember reading.

Are you guys sure that the 04 gv with the update interior doesn't run the same auto as xl7

They all do. That's part of the instructions for installing them into a vit housing. Same as Sierra 6.5's.

Meh that's more to do with tyre size and how hard you drive, at least with gears it could be a more controlled delivery of power.
