Hi,

Thought i would just put my old transmision up here incase anyone needs one Localy in SA.

I have no means of couring it but if someone is able to arrange a courier thats ok with me.

The Transmision is a Series 1 from a XL-7 but should also fit a Grand Vitara.

Transmision is in good condition and always had synthetic oil in it done 197,000k

The only problem with it is the transfer case which has a dicky Low Range (will not stay in) High range is no problems. If changing the low range gearing or have a good transfer it may be perfect. Looking at around 200 to 150 for it Not asking much due to dicky transfer, my new transmision cost $850 So may be a cheap alternative to get a GV or XL up and running. I am not sure if it will fit the 2L or 1.6L GV's

I also have a Series 2 Transfer case, this has a larger output shaft and could not be used on my XL-7 and would not mate up with the series 1 transmisoin as it has a Transmision extension on it. so just sitting arround, Its in great working condition and from a XL-7 that has done 65,000k I paid $450+80 delivery for it but willing to sell it off for $350 Ono
