Vehicle: 1980 LJ80 Soft Top

Hi Guys. Anyone interested in my little LJ80 soft top? I bought it 2 years ago and it had been stored for some

time in a closed shed. Apparently it originated from Mt Isa, NW QLD and has never seen the beach. The last

owner had plans to turn it into a comp truck but never got started. There is no rust except for a paint chip in the

centre of the bonnet and a little surface rust around the windscreen where the soft top has rubbed. I would class the paint as 7/10.

It came with the original 800cc motor which was tired but had a brand new alloy head. I have had a 1 litre unleaded FA10 installed

by professional mechanics last year and the carby rekitted. New bucket seats with 4 point harnesses. The

fastback soft top is old and stiff but still functional. I have created a fibreglass hard top as seen in the photos.

The half doors are marine ply with fibreglass coating and need spring latches to finish. The full doors are fine.

I have also have picked up a spare grill and right hand guard, plus a second set of primed full doors whilst

travelling around. These plus the alloy head and other bits all come with the car. The odometer showed 28000

when I got it and I have only put about 500klm on it since the motor transplant. It is QLD registered until April

2015. Currently stored in my parents enclosed garage in Charters Towers (because I have no room in my

Townsville garage). The "boss" says it has to go as I have too many toys and I hardly ever get to drive it due to

work commitments and I can't deliver I am afraid. Looking for around $6000 and that is less than I have spent on it.

Cheers.

Sorry mate. I really have to rationalize my space and expenses. Sadly, the insurance and rego on the Suzie is dead money as I haven't driven it since Easter 2014.
