Hi folks,

I thought I'd hold onto this for another project of mine, but have decided it's not going to be a reality. The basket is to suit a hardtop sierra, and possibly other models with same width of roof, and is very well made- you can swing off it, jump on it, etc! Would be great for touring, mounting lights, or whatever you're into that requires a seriously good basket.

The construction is 25x25mm box section, with some feet off standard roof racks, and a 20x20x2.5mm mesh covering the bottom. It should be able to handle spread loads of 250kg or more. So you could probably put a foldout camper on top of it, etc. The paint is average, but is ample protection for the steel in the short term. Would be amazing if it was powdercoated.
