I have come to the realisation that, with my current lifestyle, I just don’t have much time for the little LJ80 that I have been tinkering with so, with much regret, I have onto put it up for sale.
It’s a 1978 LJ80 Stockman in reasonable condition.
The good:
4k Conversion (engineered)
Front disk brake conversion
Rebuilt front and rear diff including all bearings and seals
New front rotors and pads
New rear shoes and brake cylinders
Reset leaf packs and shocks to suit (flex’s well)
LJ50 diff ratios to compensate for bigger tyres
All new steel rims and 2 x brand new tyres. 2 spares
Engine, Gearbox and transfer case all in good nick
Registered (will put 6 months on it)
Backyard resprayed is passable at a distance! Lol

The bad
Rust in the floor pan. Prior owner has used fibreglass to ‘fix’ but it’s very much OE in there
Not running at the moment, will be as easy as putting points/condenser back in and she’ll go. 1/2 way through electronic ignition conversion, have electronic dizzy, just need coil and ignition module. Dizzy will come with the car
Will come with spares including old diffs, LJ50 transfer case and ATV winch and wiring.
It’s a reluctant sale as I said.
