The gearbox has a rattle under transition from decel to accel. I'm not sure if it's internal or the fork. I had 11/10 engineering pull it down for a check just before this rattle started and the report was "all good" at that stage. It still drives like normal, just rattles. I have the spare gearbox ready to go if this one ever decides to give up.
Would consider swapping for an adventure touring motorbike. Something like a Kawasaki Versys or Triumph Tiger. Non-LAMS versions, nobody wants to go slow.
