somehow during the course of the week i happened to have misplaced my fuel filler cap and am chasing another one,
i was quoted $35 from one stop suzi shop on the gold coast and just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money.
so if anyone has a spare one lying around and wants to part with one cheap or even free let me know
thanks

The $35 suzistore ones are by far not worth $35. More like 35c.

yes i agree and i can't see how they can justify that amount of money for them.
is there maybe a universal or multi fit cap that i could get instead

Repco/Supercheap will have aftermarket ones, that should be not as expensive.
Otherwise try wreckers/Jas

You could always drive round to a few servos,
and tell them you think you left your fuel cap there a few weeks ago
Then see if you can find one that fits...................

there is only one cap listed for a sierra and it fits nothing else
there is a camry cap that will fit (must be SV11 to not be screw on I guess) or want33's might have one?

Just PM Jas...
From experience, you won't get a Sierra part cheaper or quicker...

I lost my cap a few months ago, and bought one at supercheap, only to find it was too big. I then ordered one from suzistore and it arrived in about 3 days and was perfect fit, and seems to be very solidly built and fits very well... not sure why exactly you would describe it as "worth 35c" It was worth every dollar to me (especially when i spent those 3 days driving around with a dodgy jam jar lid pushed onto my fuel tank cap...
