It was less than 10mm thinner. my mechanic was simply able to slide the hemi over with no mods.

Tried the new setup and lockers out yesterday at a quarry near Byron Bay.
Broke a chunk out of th side the right Birfield. It appears there is rust in the crack so I reckon it actually cracked 3 weeks ago and because I removed the birfield rings, this allowed it to break out under load yesterday.

The fellow who we went with allowed me to use his tools and remove the axle so I could at least drive home.

I'll post some pics when i get it all unpacked.
