Bell housing are differant in thickness where the housing bolts up and this also affects the starter fitting all the way in, I know from first hand experiance.

Starter will hit on the inside back of the Bell Housing

They will still bolt up but depending on what you have you may need shorter or longer bolts and a differant starter. Check first I will do some measurements tomorrow as I this I have 1 of ea here.

i have one in a 96 lwb vit atm,car is only there for my sierra motor conversion.
