i've heard the ARB bars are around 1000-1200. i cant recommend anything as i've never had a winch bar, i'm just going off what i've read on here before. Personally i hate the look of the ARB bars

I have the same problem with a 92 Vitara. All the bull bars I can find are worth 1/2 as much as the car... and I find it hard to justify that. I just want it for spotties and rod holders.
There is a guy on here that makes really nice looking bars... for sierras. Maybe if enough pressure was supplied he would consider the Vitaras. I think he sells his for around the $700 from memory... a much better price.

If building one is an option you should check out Buddie's winch bar. It's bloody good for a home made job. clicky

LOL no problems! Puts baseball bat away...
REALLY looking forward to it I don't need a winch but if the hole is there, who cares, i can fill it with one eventually if I do decide I would like one.

i got a quote the other day, (curious) and an arb bullbar for the sierra was $915 bucks in black, so not sure how much more a vitara would be. wouldnt be far off tho i am guessing..
I just goint to grab some nice size steam pipe and some plate and make my own!
satisfaction and cheaper!

Same as above and mine is going to be a front bumper replacement so the square tube works looks much neater.
