I got one I planned to rebuild on the side, but opted for a 1.6 instead. Dunno how it goes - it came out of a car with 180K on the clock, but i've never had it running. It's been sitting collecting spider webs the last 6 months.

It's yours if you want it (and can come and collect), might be a gamble if you need a guaranteed runner though.

I've got one that i just took out last night also as im doing a GTi conversion.
The rings will definatelly need to be replaced but according to the previous owner the carby was rebuilt not even 6 months ago and the head was decked and cleaned up.
