Please dont put other road users at risk because you can't afford the proper gear......

1- How is it putting other road user at risk? A correctly made z link should not be dangerous it may cause some bump steer but how is it more dangerous than than a high steer kit which bolts to the brake caliper mounts?
2- I never said I drive it on the road
3- thanks for helping me find the part I need (hence why I posted in the "I want it thread"

z link puts weak points in the bends. A stock straight draglink bends offroad. A zlink will be worse. Also depends on material etc.etc
Welding to a steering arm is a no no
If its just a trail rig, bodge away no problems.
Build it right first.

Qn 1: Do you drive it on the road? if yes, stop being a douche and get a highsteer kit. If no, then bend your original draglink to suit your needs.

Ok so like I said z link made from correct material and bent properly (not heated) should be fine for offroad until funds allow a high steer kit so (brenno) you don't have to shoot me down due to your assumptions, asking questions never hurt anyone, now can i find the parts I need
Bluesuzy- thank you for the input what are your thoughts between the sky high steer from Lowrange and rocky roads kit?

Also brenno do you really think bending a stock drag link which everyone knows bend off road when They are straight is a sensible idea? Never mind the fact that I like being able to turn left? Just asking mate let me know what you think? Thanks Tim

If your stick and need one mate I might be able to make something. Just have to work out what ends to use. By truck weighs in at 2.5 tone loaded and runs a drag link with multiple bends in it and running 35s with flipped rims. It has never bent at all and it's modd played as well

And like said if you use the right steel it will work mines 35mm 1045 solid bar.
