Hi guys,
Have an 87 Sierra with a swift gti transplant. My starter is fried so I'm looking for something in good working condition to replace it with.
I originally made the mistake of looking for a swift gti starter, and found that across the makes there were many different starters that were almost identical, even spec'ed the same, but have different mounting configurations. I'm sure something is similar for sierras. Anyway for that reason I'm after the exact starter mentioned in the title:

The starter is manufactured by Mitsubishi, the ID sticker should be green and the part No: M3T34782, M3T38981 or M3T34781?
Mine says M3T38981, so for peace of mind that's preferred.

That information should be enough, but for reference it looks identical to the one here:

which is a non-mitsubishi replacement, selling for $165.

Some Lancers run a starter exactly the same as Sierra.
Vitara 1.6 carby or EFI starter will fit Sierra.
