After a 3 speed auto Vitara box to fit 97 efi car.
Please call,txt, message via pm etc. sorry I won't deal with interstaters no more as the last gearbox and transfer I paid for never showed:(

FYI 97 EFI would be the electronic AW4 4 speed auto, unless someone has retrofitted a 3 speed trimatic.

Think he has some other parts too, like power steering setup and late model TBI manifold for sale as well. These are pretty popular though and get bought regularly. Not one complaint about him......

Haha sorry guys! Located nsw central coast, willing to travel to Sydney etc to grab a auto! Pretty sure it's a 3 speed with overdrive? Yes I did buy from a fellow member, but I do not believe its his fault as I have been in constant contact with him and he has tried tirelessly to locate the whereabouts of the missing gearboxes. Courier companies on the other hand I do blame!
I am also after a 5 speed man for 98 Jimny which is the missing gearbox in question. If anyone can help with that I would greatly appreciate it!!

bigdogdazza - 97 EFI is a 4 speed auto, an AW-4.

Whilst 4th gear is an overdrive, it's not relevant, there are 4 ratios in the gearbox.

The 3 speed auto won't work in a 4 speed auto car as the crossmembers are driveshafts are different.
