Hi i am in need of the complete seat belt set to suit an LJ80v as some one has removed and fitted some very dodgy belts.
I need the brackets that hold the retractor to the body etc etc etc.
Maybe the LJ50v belts will fit anyone know?
I am in Tasmania though will be travelling up to Brisbane soon so maybe able to pickup on my way.

Thanks Jamie

There is no retractor on an LJ. If they don't retract then they're probably the original ones.

Ok it must be some of the LJ80's that were sold oversees as i have seen a few that have them.
Have you got a photo you could share so i can see how the belts fit as the belts on mine are just a mess some have been cut and just tied back together.

Still need the complete belt set if some one has a good set they can sell.

I have never been comfortable with using secondhand seatbelts- you just dont know what they have been subjected to over the years.

Brand new aftermarket seatbelts dont cost that much- and can be bought from most car shops like ripco, supercrap, and on E-bay if you dont mind searching around a bit.

seat belts are like motorcycle helmets- to a large extent, you are only worth what you spend.

Yes very true. I have been thinking i would just get new belts. I thought i was missing a few parts but turns out they don't have retractor style belts so i am not missing much. Now i can work out what i need from whats left on the car and match it up to a new set.
