So I'm after the part "2" in the following diagram.


As you can see in the attached picture my old one is well broken. I'm located in Newcastle if anyone has this part available spare please let me know.

Not able to supply part, so feel free to chuck a hissy at me.

But did someone put a pipe through the cat and try to weld it up with a gasless mig?
Did you do it, or did you buy it like that? Who did you buy it off?

You may be better off getting a new cat and take it an exhaust shop to get that section replaced
Or get someone who can weld, weld it on properly.

Honestly I have no idea. I purchased the car on Thursday un registered and it seems to be showing a little more underbody rust than I first detected. This (photo) is a close to it as I have looked so far so it's possible the car has had one of the modifications you have listed. I'll be trying to get a better look when I have some days off and get it up on jack stands. It also needs some wheel/swivel bearing up front.
