ahaha i was driving on the Mitchell fwy (cedric st) at about 7;20 this morning(peak hr) on my way to tafe. i wasn't hanging up the persons ass... i think i must of blinked and then next second i know the car in front has stopped and im still doing about 35-40kph. slam on the brakes and pfffftt, went into the back of a Toyota corrola (i think) did only minor damage to her car and very very minor damage to the person in front of her.
i just snapped the bottom part of the grill and smashed the drivers head light, the only good thing about it is that her bumper made my number plate all nice and crinkle free now ahaha.
its gay as i have to pay an excess of $1000 as im under 25 and something else. which is money i really dont have:(
oh i still got down to tafe with 20 mins to spare(jandakot airport tafe).
i will get pics up soon,
Mitch

Try again with Slowsierra and get it sent via E.go.... They are THE CHEAPEST courier around. You'll be surprised.

Give it a good sand and paint it as steel... Grilles aren't a high flex item and unless you rub through the old paint you won't have any problems making new paint stick.

Not sure how anal you are about the colour match Mitch, but Auto One will match any manufacturers paint code and whack it into a tin or spray can for you.
I got a 1 litre tin and did my hard top with it, and also got a spray can for touch ups (which is what I colour coded the centre grill with).
Not super cheap at ~$35 for the spray can, but it sure as hell makes things easy and is a bloody good match.
