OK, so I got hung up on a large log that was buried in the sand on Bribie Island on Saturday morning and the cross member under the gearbox/ transfer case copped a hiding
I'm near North Lakes Brisbane.
Anyone got a straight one?

When you have the member out, have a REAL good look at the chassis mount's, the driver's one look's to be bent to.

Thanks Atari4x4
I can fit it, but I'm a bit worried about steknigs' comment about the bent chassis mount. That might be a problem
Where is Steknig anyway I'm Brisbane North Side up near North Lakes
I will send you a PM about the address

OK.
So I climbed under the car last night and had a closer look at the chassis mounts.
They both "look" straight although the bolts on the passenger side don't look quite right, like they are a bit off vertical if you know what I mean. Like one or both of the bolts have been pushed a bit with the twisting of the cross member. I'm guessing there is some clearance with the holes so it should work out OK. Might need new bolts if the others are damaged though. Easy
I guess I will need to put a straight edge on them and also check for square when the member is out.
The worst thing is that the box and tfr case is sitting a little sideways - not much - but noticeable.
See how I go with the replacement member when I get it
Thanks for your help/ advice so far

looking at the pic the member is a lil twisted, so the box straighten up when you bolt the other on in.
