The Hard Top :(

SUZUKI SIERRA SJ40 1984

1.0 litre Hard Top Suzuki Sierra 4 sp33d manual.
NO REGO
No rear wheel carrier
Cow pattern dash cover made of fun fur(custom)
4 bald tires on stock sunnies
Crack in drivers view in windscreen
Radiator cap fuel filler cap.
Semi Recent respray in Gunmetal Grey but drivers door mismatched. Original Yellow can be seen on undercarriage and in engine bay.
Water pump has MAJOR leak
Exhaust rattles on rear passenger chassis rail, VERY annoying..
Carpet throughout(marine carpet)
Speakers in rear quarters and kick panels
Stereo works, but display not visible
Electric fuel pump fitted
Tinted rear lights
Stock factory running gear

Chassis Number: need to find our records
Engine Number: f10a.... need to find in our records

The vehicle wasparked in Ballentyne Street, Northcote, Victoria.
It was removed without permission between May 25th and June 2nd. 2010. I have spoken to the local council, including their tow truck drivers and thie impound supervisor, and the council is NOT responsible for removing.

We had left a note on the windscreen with ALL contact details should it need to be moved, but received no contact.

Local wreckers and scrap metal have not been helpful at all in disclosing any information regarding what cars have come in, stating they can only give that information to the police. Hence the Stolen vehicle report.

POLICE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED AND ARE INVESTIGATING.

SUZIWORLD IN HEIDELBURG ALSO NOTIFIED.

Personal Items in the car included:
work tools(grinder, extension lead, jack stands etc)
Clothes, shoes, towles etc.
1 office chair-white(no base)
2 Effie rims with worn rubber
COVER NOTE with Sp33ds Details on it.

Images Below

We believe it is to clean to be 'crushed' so keep an eye out at your local wreckers, ''friends selling 'cheap parts' etc.

Every effort was made to make the car 'secure' such as Battery removed, Rotor button removed, steering locked, 4wd low engaged+hubs locked.

Please keep your eyes peeled!

We will offer a reward at our discretion for information regarding the safe return of the Hard Top. PM myself or Sp33d.

TTBB

Contacted the RTA or whatever they are called in your state?

In NSW, if an unreg'd vehicle is on a public roadway for longer than a specified amount of time, you are able to purchase it from the RTA.

Maybe someone else owns it now...

^^ Thats would be Vic roads.. Who would have lights n Bells flashing when the police inquired into it...

We did recieve a call from cops asking if it was rego'd in SA. (which it was-2 or 3 owners ago) so they are looking into it..

Good luck with finding your car.

You would get more attention in the chat area though, just a thought.
