The 1.6 motor is the most common conversion atm.

Tried searching??????

1.9 diesel is not an option. Very rare, if any came to aus. And would be $$

Get a G16B bottm end and transplant the jimny head on it. You should only need std G16B stuff i.e. cam belt etc.

BenT sells the adaptors and they work great.

1600 adaptor

Why don't you repair/replace the sump?

we just put and 1.6 east west engine out of a beleno, its a g16b.
hell simple conversion cost us around 1000 buck including buying the motor.
have to swap the rocker cover, cam, exaust and intake manifolds and a few other things to do it, suzi store in wa will give you all the advise on what needs to be done...
oh and also custom engine mount on the passangers side from memory
