basically just need the planatory gears so i can change my front diff to 26 spline, but whole diff would be better. |

That's why I asked have been down this track before only way I found round it was the 26 spline side gears v6 vitara cv's and some custom axles expensive seeing as I give mine a bit of shit and don't realy break that many have only done 1 axle and one cv 2 years unless you want to lock it then you will need the upgrade let me know if you find a cheaper way I would like to do mine if it's not to expensive. |

To be pedantic, diff ratio is 4.09:1 Some wreckers may get confused if you say 4.1 |

And while we're in that mood, Planetary Gears aren't found in diffs (well, OK they are in a Torsen-Gleason LSD, but we're not talking about that). They are most commonly found in Auto Transmissions and winches, but also as the Low reduction in Coily and Jimny transfer cases. The 2 lots of gears within a diff are the spider and side gears, or the crown wheel and pinion gears. These also go by other names as well, but never Planetary gears. |
